The slide show gives you a brief snapshot of Yeovil Freewheelers EVS from the very beginning to present day.
A theme that is constant throughout is fundraising, being on display, raising awareness of the charity.
We must raise a minimum of £35,000 each year to keep the service going, so just as much of your time will be spent fundraising as riding, because without funding we could not provide the service we do to the NHS.
Riding for us:
To ride for us you must be over 30 years of age and hold a full unrestricted clean motorcycle licence.
You also must hold a recognised advanced riding qualification such as IAM or ROSPA or be working towards achieving that.
We also need people to help in non riding positions such as admin, fundraising, publicity, garage maintenance to mention a few.
So if your a rider or non rider and you would like to help in any way or have skills you think could help the charity then please send us a message through our contact page.
What's in it for me:
Our motto is 'Riding for the Community' and our charity is focused on using motorcycles to save life, all of our volunteers get the satisfaction of knowing that they are helping people at a time when they need it most, all over the South Somerset and North Dorset area as well as saving the local NHS Trust a minimum of £85,000 to £90,000 each year.
