This money will pay for the purchase of Helite airbag safety vests for duty riders to use, these airbag vests provide protection for the riders back, neck, coccyx, ribs and chest and inflate within 0.1 of a second should the rider part company with the bike. As our riders spend the majority of their duty operating on dark, wet and often muddy roads within the south west these airbag vests are a welcome addition to the riders safety kit only possible because of this generous donation.
